Some women have such low self-esteem that they will fake a pregnancy just to gain attention from a man who no longer wants to be involved with her. All this is being done just to disrupt a current relationship the man has with another woman.

P.S. I know she is not pregnant because her due date came and went without gaining a pound. She just wanted to make the guy sit on pins and needles for as long as she could.

It is not attention that she wants, it is you! This is a desperate attempt to keep you from leaving. She is hurt and confused. Not understanding why a person no longer wants to continue in a relationship is hard for most people, and depending on her background rejection may be the root of her problem and the source of her dishonesty. Now my question to you becomes, how can you be sure that she is not pregnant?

A person who is apparently distraut over a break up and emotionally a wreck and doesnt want to let him go. I wouldnt say low self esteem is the answer but someone who is really hurt. Who knows what this man did to her and what lies or promises he told her or what actaully ended the relationship. There are two sides to the story and it sounds to me like she want to get even with him or wants him to hang on to her for she loves him. She is hurting and hurting badly.
If you are the "other" woman or know the "other woman, there may be more to the story then "he" is saying. Hope this helps--

Are you with this man? Are you sure she is faking it? Regardless if she is or not,... she is a woman who is determined to get what she wants.... regardless of anyone's feelings. Trust me, I know. I was in a relationship,.... you know,... off and on one. Well, during one of those offs,... his ex came to his house pretending to be homeless becuz she got kicked out of her home and I guess one thing lead to another. At first me and my b/f thought she was pretending but nine months later,,.... we saw it with out own eyes. I felt so bad, not becuz of her, but becuz now it was not going to be a fresh start with me and him... So bad, I had to call my relationship with my love quits. The last time I spoke to the homewreaker,,,, she said,... "Dont talk to my man,.... I allready did what I had to do to keep my man, so stay away.". These woman think that some how children will make thier relationship work but,... that woman is still not married to my ex. She's still waiting for him and now is a single broke mom. What it comes down to: Women who have nothing else to offer a man. If this is you in this love triangle,...Dont let this bring you down, keep your head up.

I think that it is sad when people fake a pregnancy, there is this one girl i know, we used to be friends, well any way she says that she has had 2 or 3 miscarriages, but there is no proof of her ever being pregnant. I mean no tests or anything.
I think that if you have to fake a pregnancy to make a guy feel sad for you or make a guy feel they need to be with you then you need help. (mentally)

Pathetic.
I used to closely know someone who did that. Her b/f broke up w/ her and soon after that she faked pregnancy. The guy took her back immediately and a few weeks later she said she & her guy decided to have an abortion. Stupid him, he dropped her off at the hospital and she went in alone pretending to have an abortion. A year later that same guy married her. She's f*cked up in the head and he's stupid- so I guess they made a great match.

This girl did that to my brother. He broke up with her and she called him like a week later saying she was pregnant. My brother turned around and told her...ok well, then we will go have it confirmed with a doctor. Well, come time for the doctors appt and her friend calls my brother that she had a miscarriage...yea I'm sure. It's pretty low to use pregnancy like that. Some women need lots of help.

It's even worse when they get pregnant to get the man back, then he doesn't come back so has essentially dumped the kid off on her parents to raise because the only reason she had the baby was because she was sure the man was coming back!
(had to get that off my chest, sorry. I hate seeing the baby get pushed to the side and has come into this world for the wrong reason)

I knew a girl back home that slept with a guy and got pregnant then slept with another guys who was married to one of her friends and told him that she was pregnant with his baby to get him to leave his wife. Come to find out that it was never his baby in the first place. she ended up miscarrying that baby and got pregnant again. now he doesnt beleive that one is his and she wonders why that is??? some women are just coniving and monipulative and desperate..its very sad
