Please help me.
I am using a Labtec v6.0 Webcam which specifies that it is compatible with both MSN and Yahoo! messenger. Our computer is a Microsoft XP desktop. The webcam works perfectly well with MSN messenger. When we start the webcam on Yahoo! it tries to connect, but it says that it's waiting to reconnect, then retries to connect, and repeats over and over. When I try to view other people's webcams it says it had a problem connecting to the server. Thanks for consideration and help! I would like to see my family half way around the world!

Ruled out the overseas interuption idea.
Tried webcam with someone who lives nearby and said the same thing.
Also changed connection preferences to no proxies...no dice. Tested webcam on the yahoo help page and it showed up...I'm going to try reinstalling camera.

It might be not be the cam, there could be an interruption in the connection if you are trying to see someone overseas.
