I think this will be his final year...I'm glad he came back for one more year. Even though it was heartbreaking to see how disappointed he looked on the sidelines after so many lost games last year. Its hard to see such a great QB stop playing. But that is life. In football you have to enjoy the players while you can because before you know they are gone I have admired the man throughout his career. It will be weird when hes no longer the QB for the packers. The man is an institution. He plays with such a big heart. He is and will forever be a legend. He'll for sure be in the Hall of Fame first year eligible.

My understanding is he is back to play again this season. It's hard to imagine that this will not be his last season. Last year he was bad and tarnished his Hall of Fame career with his performance. I'm sure I would have probably done the same thing in his shoes (taking the big money for this year). However, if the struggles again this year, which I think is highly probable, he may wish he had retired at the end of last year. Favre is in the Hall of Fame on the first ballot regardless of how this year plays out for him, I just wish he had left on top like Elway for example.

Brett Favre is coming back as QB for the Packers which should benefit their top draft pick, Aaron Rodgers, a quarterback as well.

He decided to at least stay for this season. Last year was a fluke, loosing his top receivers and his RB's. No QB could of won with the team the Packers had last year. He'll prove it was fluke also!

One can only hope. I used to like the guy but I'm getting tired of the "maybe I'll retire" crap that he does EVERY year...
