Astrology houses?

I had my chart done recently and almost all of my planets (sun,venus, mercury, jupiter, saturn)are in the second house. My moon is in fifth house though. What exactly does this all mean?

It means that you are all about having. You are an excellent businesswoman and excel at making money. You love to own things - possessions make you comfortable and happy. Because of the moon in the fifth house, you are enjoyable and fun to be around. It's the little pleasures in life that keep you going.

1. It depends upon what type of aspect (angular relationship) the Moon makes to your Sun, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter & Saturn.

2. A sextile (60°) means opportunity, a trine (120°) means that things come easily, an inconjunct (150°) means sometimes having to settle for second best, or constant adjustments.

3. The Planets are the actions. The Signs describe how you express that planetary action. The aspects with other planets give more complex information on how those planets function. The houses represent different areas of life. Just a few tips.

If you think of Astrology as you would acting, the planets are the actors, the signs are their roles and the houses are the settings under which the characters play out those roles.

All 8 planets and the 2 luminaries (Sun & Moon) are placed in signs. They will act according to what sign they are placed in, what house they are placed in and what aspects they make.

Aspects are the mathematical relationships between the planets and points. Examples of points are your Ascendant (Asc - 1st house cusp) and the Midheaven (MC - 10th house cusp).

The main major aspects are:

Conjunction 0° - emphasis, intensification, concentration
Opposition 180° - awareness, conflict, balance
Square 90° - tension, challenge, turning point
Trine 120° - ease and flow, harmony
Sextile 60° - opportunity, attraction
Inconjunct or Quincunx 150° - adjustment, strain

Getting back to your question,

The 2nd house represents your: money and possessions except real estate, your values, your self worth, earning power, and your need for fulfillment.

The 5th house represents your: creativity, children, amusements, sports, love affairs, gambling, romance, pleasure, hobbies, and the love your give.

The Sun represents your inner self, personality and ego.
The Moon represents your emotions, your feelings, nurturing urge and domestic urge.
Mercury represents your need to communcicate, your intellectual uge and reasoning ability.
Venus represents your need for affection, love and the need to socialize.
Jupiter represents your need to expand and grow. Jupiter helps protect. It governs our ethics.
Saturn represents your need to limit, concentrate and to be safe. It helps us to be responsible and serious.

Well this is what I think... the 2nd house is money, possessions, material assets, values, feelings, attitude towards security, and partners. The 5th house is children and how one relates to them, pleasures, enjoyment, fun, sports of all kinds, games, arts, leisure etc. The Moon rules health in general. It governs the vital bodily fluids and the regulation of them. The moon is the indicator of emotions, feelings and moods. So maybe you want children, need more fun or something.
