i only have 140 points...well now 135 thanks to this question...lol?

i mean is there any tricks to this? how the heck do some of these ppl have 10's of 1000's of points...do they not sleep?

please help me..how do i get more points?

Well, I just joined a couple days ago, so obviously this is only my best guess, (I have around 200 points) but it seems to me that the key to racking up points is time and good answers.

Giving a Best Answer gets you 10 points on the spot.

Which means people who have a high percentage of Best Answers will probably have a lot of points, depending on how many questions they answer per day.

Here's an example:
If you max out your answers in one day, (20 questions for a level 1 or 2 account) 70% of those being best answers: 40 points for answering in general, plus another 140 points for your best answers, plus your login point. That's 181 points in one day, and that's only until you reach level three, where the amount of questions you can answer per day doubles, therefore the amount of points you can get doubles as well.

It is real straight forward. Answer questions and get 2 points. If you answer is choosen as the best you get 10.

well you are chosen the best answer you get 10 points if you vote a best answer you get 1 point and if you choose a best answer you get back your 5 points
