Newport Folk Festival in 1965, the night that Dylan went electric. Maybe not so much a great concert as a very memorable one.

I've been to many, many concerts and, believe it or not, the best one I've seen was Bush in 1996 in Phoenix AZ along with No Doubt and the Goo Goo Dolls.
They beat out Metallica, Dave Matthews Band, Korn, and many other bands I've seen. Believe me, I'm surprised too...

I realise this is probably cheating but it has to be Live 8. You had to be there. Imagine going to a gig where you forgot you saw the likes of Sting or Elton John. Not that they weren't good - far from it! - but there were so many amazing things to try to remember. but I wish I'd seen Queen and Genesis before Peter Gabriel left. I saw Sparks in February and they were brill!

Festival- Bonnaroo 2005- so many great artists and non-stop entertainment.
Concert- Kris Kristofferson at the Ryman Auditorium. It was just him a big open stage and a guitar. Magic happened that night.
