How many women know the diffrence between ovulating and menstruating?

There are probably lots of women who do not know the answer to this question. Very educational if they read it then they will know.
The menstrual cycle is made up of two phases. Ovulation thats your fertile time when the eggs are released from the ovaries and menstruation when the lining of the uterus is shed. Ovulation is when you are ripe and receptive. Its the time when your body is ready nourish a new life, menstruation is when the window of opportunity for new life dies and your body sheds and cleanses itself for the next cycle. Basically its the cycle of birth-death-rebirth.

I know! I just went on b.c. pills and I'm very sad that I will no longer be ovulating. That's the fun part about being a woman that makes the menstruating all worthwhile!

Ovulating is when your body releases the egg to be fertilized.
Menstuating is when the egg is NOT fertalized and the body expels it.
