a poster bed is where the bed has poles that go up at the corners..if you didnt know it..

I have just a normal bed with a head board and foot board. Though I always thought people with poster beds were kinky lil devils! You know why those poles are there to tie people to it so if ya get em now you will know what people are gonna think! lol j/k Thanks for the 2 points!!!!

I have a poster bed in the guest bedroom. We sleep on a more modern style oak bed with a bookcase headboard.

I've got a mattress and box springs...and I think (almost) everyone in the free world is aware of what a "four-poster" bed is.

My bed has a headboard that has little shelves in the corners, a mirror in the middle and a light in the top. It is solid oak and gorgeous. I also have a matching dressed and amour.
