I mean yes, pretty much all of the drugs they sell are illegal and killing people, but they aren't FORCING people to buy these drugs, or DO them!
For that matter, I could boycott the Liquor Stores or Beer Stores.
They don't force people either but I've had 3 FAMILY members die from getting hit by a drunk driver.
When are people going to realize that marijuana is NOT a problem, and is NOT going to go away!
They should be targeting Crack-cocaine and E and Heroine, things that acually **** people up.
Leave the pot-heads alone, target the crack-heads!
Oh, and for those of you who still think that weed is a "gateway" drug, obviously have never experienced it for themselves.
It's not the DRUG that makes people try new and more drugs, It's the PERSON.
If your weak, you'll give in.

Oh, and for that one dude, drugs are not dealt ONLY in the slums or poor parts of town.
That's just what you hear about.

The reason people hate drug dealers is that they prey on the weakest and the poorest people in our economy. This causes Crime to rise visa vie Theft, Murder, etc. With this come urban blight. Have you noticed that usually drugs are only dealt in the poorest sections of a city. Drug dealers aren't contributing to our society in any way. The money they make is not taxed so it doesn't go to help the city's coffers. If we didn't have to spend so much money on drug prevention and Law enforcement dealing with drugs all that money would go into helping these people in these poor areas. Pot is the same thing. Yes I agree it's the weakest of people who go from pot to harder things. The problem here is I think the Government should legalize Pot. The revenue this would create would be huge. But like booze and cigarette's it would have to be controlled.

You are right Mike, I totally agree with you on this point. Actually, people hate crack-heads more but not really the drug dealers coz they know, afterall it's for survival and for living. However, the common people show concerns and do not expect any person to live on drugs business that's what make the drug dealers feel being hated. People dislike this business for several reasons concerning the society, youths and teenagers going crackheads and the legal implications of such business.

there is no good drug... if i am hit by a car driven by a pot head... driver... i am just as dead...as if a crack head..shot me.. would you put your child on a plane..bus..train or in car...with someone who just smoked pot. i would not. also marijuana.. is not a healthy drug.. it affects..brain... lungs... and destroys families..puts people in jail and prison. it is illegal.. unhealthy... and just because alcohol is legal does not mean it is for everyone either. it was illegal at one time...and may be again.... it the statistics keep climbing. you see what has happened with plain ciggerettes. booze is next... talk to the pot heads behind bars..

Not only that, but imagine how much better our economy could be if we could harvest 100 million acres of hemp each year and make our own oil. that is just one thing, but i do agree the only place that weed leads people it to the 7-11, for nachos.

i don't think people hate drug dealers. I think people hate the violence most drug dealers bring to their community. Lets say some punk kid doesn't want to pay for the drugs he got from the dealer. what do you think is going happen to that kid?
