Because as long as the human race exists there will always be wars. It's been going on since the dawn of time! Nobody will ever change things. Some people argue if you banned religion then there'd be no wars but that's just a childish answer. I'm an atheist so I'm neutral in the argument but I'm a realist too and that just wouldn't work.

It amazes me, not just on Yahoo Answers, but on many other forums etc.
How many people accuse President Bush of causing wars.

He did NOT cause 9/11, he did NOT cause 7/7 or the Madrid bombings or the Bali bombings.
People have such small minds and seem to go with anything that they read or hear in the media or from their so-called friends.

If people took the time to look and learn and THINK why these country`s have wars then these people might actually begin to understand!

Take time, listen, open your brain!

Getting back to the question. I think the answer is.....
Are you not happy that countries like the UK and the USA are prepared to stop this happening?
Without them, where would security be???

Oh, my dear, the age old question. People fight over all sorts of things, languages, religion, land, mineral rights, power, women, men, children.

You name it, we can fight over it.

Humans, for good or ill, are basically selfish, self-serving animals. And I don't use animal in the pejorative. Selfishness is a part of our genetic heritage.

We are creatures who want things the way we want them. Watch a small child who has not yet been socialized to observe our true nature.

The wonder is that we have gotten this far in time without extingishing our species. I marvel at all of the advancements humans have made.

But we have seriously overpopulated the globe, in the word of scientists, outpopulated our resources. If we do not find a way to limit the number of briths on this earth, we will not long continue to live on it. Moreover, we have used the earth to our grave peril. Chief Seattle warned the white man more than 200 years ago. "He who fouls his nest, will not long live in it."

If you think we now fight over oil, begin to read about the coming wars over water. Yes, on the little water planet, we will fight about water. Observe the Western United States now.

People are opposed to war until their interests are affected, then they will fight.

Spread the word. Support global birth control.

And I am not a nut. Just someone who would like to give the grandchildren a way to live.

This is sad, but true. Human beings seems to retain the animal instinct of fighting. It seems to be a necessary component of our lives. If you think about it, we would not have our "greatest generation". The "greatest generation" was the group of Americans who were alive and contributed to the war effort during World War II.

its all to do with the governments we have no say in what goes on, but saying that we voted them in (well I never). I feel we need a peoples government run by the people for the people, Nothing gets past in Parliament without the peoples say so. let the leaders of today fight there own battles.
