ok first off i hate fake preppy blonde's ewww... i think brunettes girls are way better... blonde's wear a lot of makeup and dress like hoes... while brunettes don't wear that much, or don't wear it at all... so i think guys like girls that don't wake up with half there face gone... so it's definitely BRUNETTES!!!

It depends on the guy. Most men say that they prefer their girls without makeup. In my experience, they don't mind a little makeup, hate it when a girl wears "a mask." Basically stay away from tons of makeup on your face.
As for the preppy blonde or athletic brunette question, Studies have shown that men prefer long term relationships with independent brunette women. Younger guys tend to go for the preppy blondes, maybe because they think it's an easy score, or that they reflect their own immaturity. Most of the preppy blondes I know give off a rather "ditzy" persona. This is my own perception of things, and by no means disrespectful to any blonde women.

I agree with what Liz said..I mean we all know that guys love to look at models and actresses and they are anything but bare -faced.
I think it really depends on if you have good skin..if so, you really don't need foundation. If you are naturally attractive looking, you don't need to wear any or very little ala natural look. It is nice if going out of a night to still wear at least some. Make up enhances our beauty and can make plainish girls more attractive too.
So I think since guys are visual, anything you can do to enhance how you look is a good thing..what they don't like is it not applied properly where you look like a clown or too much of it caked on where you look like you should be standing on a street corner.
To answer your second question..beauty is in the eye of the beholder, we all have different tastes in what we find attractive/unattractive. Guys are individual too and it's not that cut and dry. Some guys have a preference for one hair colour over another while other guys like any hair colour. One thing I know for sure is if you put a blonde and brunette together and ask a guy to pick..regardless of their hair colour preference they will pick the girl that is the most attractive looking which usually means the one with the hair colouring that suits their facial features the most. As for preppy, not preppy, sporty, whatever look..depends on the individual guy.
As for you Rockstar, I think you should get over your petty jealously and stop stereotyping blondes. We don't all wear tons of make up and dress like ho's. You want to talk about classy? Well Grace Kelly and Princess Diana have to be up there and guess what they were blondes!

Cosmo magazine recently did a survey on this. they took the same model and took a pic. of her wearing makeup- blush eyestuff, lipgloss.tastefully but stiill makeup. the other pic was just a little bit of amkeup and the last was none at all. most guys actually preferred the make-up look. the 2nd pick was the natrual look and the last one was the little bit of makeup. guys always say they dont like makeup but no one complains when the girl looks hot with it on.

A little bit of makeup or no makeup at all looks nice. A lot of girls wear too much cover-up and eyeliner, and it looks horrible.

Different guys prefer different things. Most guys dislike it when girls wear heavy makeup because it takes away from true beauty. So make up should be worn occasionally and in moderation.(Lip gloss, masscara,eye shadow, no foundation it messes up your skin)

It depends. I mainly prefer it when girls wear little or no make-up. I like that natural look.
With regards to that other question, I'd prefer the brunette.

hair color doesn't always have to make your personality. i've met plenty of stupid brunettes, and plenty of blondes that are independent and tom-boyish. so, in conclusion, don't be so stereotypical.
