Apply a clear base coat first then put on the nail polish you want. Then put on a clear top coat.

try putting on a base coat, then the nail polish, then a top coat. i tried that and it stayed for a reeeeeeaaalllyyy long time.
it also depends on the nail polish because some chip A LOT faster than others. so make sure you don't but cheap nail polish(Sally Hansen nail polish usually lasts a long time).

put a clear top coat over it make sure the nail polish under it and all harden cuz if not then the top coat will come off and bits of your nail polish will too

before applying nail polish, first apply a clear coat,this ensues that the nail polish goes on as smooth as possibble. Apply two coats of nailpolish, then when it has dried apply one last coat of clear.

buff them with a 4 sided nail buffer /polisher then bottom clear coat then polish then top coat

use the same nailpolish that u use for ur base coat for ur top coat.
like if u use a clear base coat, use the same polish over ur nailpolish,
it lasts MUCH longer.
