Asking for a friend.. A mom friend in a suburb of Charlotte, NC is having to find work due to divorce after 22 years of full-time-momdom. She completed high school and one year of college but has no corporate experience at all. Does anyone now of any resources in the area that could help her transition into the work world? She still has two young kids - 12 and 5 living with her. Thank-you for any tips.

Mine did the same, with one 13 year old.

She lived with me for about a year until she completed her CNA at a local college, found work immediately. worked full time and did her LVN at company expense, 6 years later makes more than i do.

Try the colleges, she will need resources and support.

There is a perfect opportunity out there for Mom's where they can stay at home and work from their telephone...exactly what I do. It is a health product that is very much in demand. She just needs to contact people and tell them about it. It comes with full training and a very low investment that people are finding they earn an income within just a few days. You get all the tax breaks of big businesses, but work at your own pace. You meet some incredible people who help you every step of the way.
Something to consider.
