internet sex-dating: meeting someone on the Internet first and the meeting him in real-life so us to have sex.

I am not doing it my self-guys. This is part of my thesis research. Many people are meeting these days by exchanging messages to adult-dating sites.

call me old fashion but I like the old way of meeting people....actually meeting them face to face there is so much more to a relationship than typing words back and forth

Society has really dropped it's morals. It's done though, but what's the point really? No strings attached probably, it seems everything now a days is sex related. It's a pity relationships should be deeper than just that, filled with respect and Honor. I would not call it efficient, maybe easier. I could lie about the way I look and who I am to meet someone online, it's an easy way to be mislead others that's for sure.

Well, I think it depends on your personality type. Although I feel Internet dating can be very effective...it's Risky..it can also be very costly. I've done it before off of a phone chat line, and I don't think I would ever do it again. I'd rather just meet someone the natural way. Even though it seems that way could take forever - again depending on your personality, I believe just meeting someone naturally is more efficient because the truth is more prevalent.

An easy way of killing time maybe, but not meeting someone. Cam shows, cybersex. etc are not much different than watching porn or calling a phone sex line.

Internet dating services? After my divorce I had a membership on Yahoo! personals. Complete waste of money in my case. After several months of getting little to no responses, I was set up with a wonderful lady by a mutual friend, and we were married in July.

Well, you're not actually meeting them until you do it in person. So by definition it is not efficient.

I get a kick out of people who say they are "dating" someone over the Internet when they have never even spoken to them nor met them. Typing does not replace human communication and contact.

I think internet its the best thing since sliced bread.
It works for me, in a very big way... just write a profile, tell something about yourself, not all, otherwise,it removes the mystery and the CURIOSITY to get in touch...and get industrial supply of condoms...

No, its not more efficient and effective...its just a means for people who can't get none to have a peek at what its like I guess...it sucks really.

just remember that having cyber sex means one thing: You having sex with YOU. It's all about you. So, if you prefer your hand to a real person, go ahead. I think i'm gonna hurl.

I think the Internet can be a successful medium for people to meet, such as Eharmony.com and such. I don't think chat rooms and such are safe or helpful though.
