Yes, when you're on your period and you feel like that, then you're going through PMS. It happens to me all the time, eat plenty of chocolate, it makes me feel a lot better. =D

Yes, I've been experiencing that a lot more now in my thirties and I had not experienced it in the past. My sister calls my alter ego when I'm on my period "Rufus". She even mimicks me by making her voice deep and barking out orders. Both she and my daughters have quite a laugh at my expense, but I have to agree that it is funny. You're quite normal but it still sucks.

grumpy nauseous..tired, bloated..feeling flu like..hungry...sore..you name it, your hormones surge at this time of month..and it's perfectly normal to feel a wide range of things.
