You didn't foul it up.

Knowledge is pain.

Bliss is the absence of pain.

Ignorance is the absence of knowledge.

Ignorance is therefore, bliss.

What is blissful about ignorgance?

well if you think you've spelt a word correctly , do don't feel embarrassed, and will leave it .... blissful in the ignorance of your spelling mistake

When someone says "Ignorance is Bliss." they are expressing the wish that they didn't know or learn some of the things they know because the knowing causes them pain and suffering and not knowing would mean they wouldn't feel that.

Only zombies live blissfully since they are ignorant and mindless, the rest of us who are alive and conscious, don't want that kind of ignorant bliss.

It's kind of like that saying, what you don't know won't hurt you, which is totally incorrect. To be uninformed allows you to avoid any stress and worry associated with knowing. Look at a happy baby. Even when situations aren't the best, because they don't know or understand, they are able to be full of joy.

Not knowing the bad things that are going on around you. And not knowing that something you say/do is bad or offensive to others. Sometimes it's nice just to be "ignorant" because that way everything is good.

If a doctor told me I had 24 hours to live, I would rather not know... because then my 24 hours would be spent worrying about what happens next instead of just having fun as usual. I would rather enjoy the day. haha

I can definitely understand why ignorance is bliss. No worries. But that's not to say bliss is "good."

Not knowing of what will potentially hurt you. Not having to worry about everything and trying to solve problems.
