These would vary greatly in price and performance. I bought an M3 convert and dumped a Boxster S after my son was born, so we could put a childseat in the back. In my case, the 2nd row of seats was the deciding factor. But the performance of the M3 is also significantly better.
Of the 4 mentioned, only the M3 can handle more than 2 people. My 2002 M3 has a rough ride compared to my wife's X5 (naturally) but it is still a very drivable car for every day. I suspect the same is true for a TT, SLK or Cayman, but the M3 is a real car vs. a tiny sports car. Also, it blows away the TT and SLK in performance --- by a longshot -- and is about equal to that of the Cayman.
The M3 is refined, whereas the Cayman is probably like the Boxster S I had, which was not practical for day-to-day use. It was great to jump in when I got home from work -- but a nightmare to drive to work the few times I attempted. In contrast, I drive the M3 to work every day.

I like 'em all but would probably say the BMW M3 for everyday ride/comfort and reliability. None of these cars are going to be squishy comfortable like a Town Car and none has shown great reliability lately, but if I had to choose one from your requirements, I'd go with the M3. And I own and enjoy Porsches.

I'd take the M3, then the Cayman, SLK, and the Audi TT... All are great tho.
