I, too, was born on the winter solstice - between Sagittarius and Capricorn. Talk about confusing influences.
As a Sag I am active in my expression, while as a Cap I am reactive. Which means I am either gonna tell you how I feel or I am going to blow up from not telling you how I feel.
As a Capricorn, there is a tendency to control feelings and exert considerable self-discipline, but my Sag side rarely stays in the same place as regards beliefs, and truth is relative to my discoveries at any one time. Which means I don't know if I am coming or going half the time, but since I never claim to know, it doesn't matter.
My Sag side is a male dominated fire side, my Cap side is a female dominated earth sign.... which explains a LOT!
Oh well, at least I am not one of those confused Aries/Taurus people... then I would be just like my mother.

You are born on the cusp of Sagittarius and Capricorn. You will be either one sign or the other not both.
It's a common misconception to those new to Astrology to suggest that you are a "cusp" person and both signs. That's incorrect.
The reason you feel that you may be both signs is because your Mercury may be in one sign and your Sun in the other. The Sun and Mercury are never more than 28° apart.

So random, I was just having a conversation with one of my friends about this last night. My friend is reallly into astrology and she swears that I am a mix, she says she always forgets that I am a Cap because I guess I have more Sag qualities. I know pretty much nothing about this subject but I'll take her word for it, she's not the only one who's said that about me though so there has to be something to it. I think it's a good thing because all the Caps I know that have birthdays in like the last few days of Dec or in Jan are all a little nutty coo-coo so go with it. The way I see it is you get the best of both signs.

I'm born on the taurus/gemini cusp 21st May 1981.
I would say I have mostly Gemini traits although there are some definite Taurean traits as well, such as; a love of the earth, trees, forests. Also, a highly sensual romantic side. A tendency to hang on to the past (which I hate). Other than that I have very "typical" gemini traits. In love I'm exclusive, loyal and not interested in cheating or "exploring my options" as some disgusting people call it. I guess that's a Taurean attribute also because Gemini gets a lot of bad press for his wandering eyes and flirtatious, cheating ways. Perhaps I'm a lot more Taurean than I thought. I was born on Oct. 23., when Libra changes to Scorpio. I don't have any Libra tendencies. I am a pure Scorpio woman. And I was born just 20 minutes after the sun entered Scorpio that year.

My son was born on the last day of cancer, first day of leo. He has the sensitivity and creative sense of the crab,but the stubborn, aggressiveness of the lion. Definitely a mix. He is now 21, as he gets older, he has become closer to the attributes of the cancer/ crab. He will make someone the most wonderful husband someday.

Pisces is always feb 19 to march 20 your are a pisces but will carry some features of both signs.
