For my birthday my dad and mother got me a straitner and some foundation. When I opened the gifts I thanked them. I SWEAR I thanked them. And then today my mom goes on and on about waht a bad kid I am and how disrespectful and unapreciative I am. Then she tells me that I never thanked her or my dad and that they both talked about it last night. I'm FURIOUS. I KNOW I thanked them. Because they choose to ignore me is their own problem because I made it clear that I loved the gifts. So now I can't go to my friends birthday party becasue it's at the mall, I have no money, and my parents won't give me any. I tried thanking my mom again and she said I was only thanking her so I could get cash. So what am I supposed to do here?

And so were all clear here I'm not just being ungrateful and trying to weasle money out of them but I'm just mad that they ignored my many many thankyous, and that they find me so annoying and such a bad kid that they talk about it all last night even though I DID thank them.

Why don't you just say your sorry for not thanking them for the gifts(irregardless if you originally did or didn't) and that you didn't mean to hurt, disrespect or upset them in any way??? As far as the money you need to attend your friends birthday party....Ask if there is any way you could BORROW the money from them that you need, and make a payment schedule with them that is acceptable to all of you. This way you can get to go to the party and show them you are trying to be responsible for your actions and handling some finances!!!
