Friends?........?

Do you have a small group of friends or large? and why... Have you been friends with someone for a really long time?

I have both. The small group are the ones I have known the longest (15 years and counting) and feel the most comfortable with. There is no pretense or having to be a certain way around them. They are the support system that I go to for absolutely anything. The large group is for having fun with and making me laugh and vice versa. They know little things here and there...but I don't really share alot with them because it isn't the nature of the friendship. It is pretty trivial. I have one friend I have been closest to my entire life...that one can't be substituted and no matter what happens between us they are ALWAYS there and they NEVER leave (which is extremely comforting). Nothing can happen that ends that friendship, nothing.

Small group of close friends, then a larger group of less close friends. Small group can tell most things to and do things more frequently than the larger group. Larger kind of see here/there at parties, etc.

And yes, some of my friends I've known for many many many years! I'd do about anything for them and vice versa.

I really don't have a small group of friends..I really can't say that I even have a close friend..Nowadays people don't know the meaning of "true friendship". I hope oneday I will find someone who does and become great friends with!

i have a large group. but its a wide range of people. I dont have a clique either. I have been friends with some of them since 1st grade. i know people from all over my city from 5 different high schools. i network thats why.
