My 10 year old sons school passed out a flyer for something called Upwards Basketball League. They practice at least once a week and play a game once a week, each child plays equal time. My son really wants to play, but never has played B-ball before, and did not make the team last year at his last school. They create leagues based on demand so nobody gets turned away. Does anyone know if this would be a good introduction to the sport?
