It took me a while, but I finally figured out that making frequent, enthusiastic, passionate love to my hubby says "I love you" to him in his "love language" as loudly and clearly as his taking me out to dinner or doing the dishes so I can have a break says it to me. I think that one of the major problems we have as married couples is that we communicate love differently, and we have a hard time learning to communicate it to our partner in the way they need it to be communicated to them. I've read a couple of awesome books on the subject- "His Needs, Her Needs" is a great book on the top ten emotional needs of men and women, and it's very straightforward. "For Women Only" and "For Men Only" are also two good books to read, especially if your partner is willing to read and learn along with you. It's great for conversation! I'm pretty new at the whole being married thing, but I do know that it's worth all the time and effort you put into it. Best of luck to you. :)

Honey, I'll tell you something; if I didn't give my wife sex then she'd feel unloved and I'd never hear the end of it. And she wants me to enjoy myself; it's a big thing to her.

Absolutely. No question about it. However, as one gets older, it is less and less of an issue......when I was eighteen, it was a ten on the one to ten. At fifty, it's a 9.6.
