I dont think it was a hoax. Paris claimed it was a hoax to help their show on Letterman back in June but there is too much evidence that it was real. Nicole did something to really piss Paris off, I think. Nicole probably didn't like being Paris' sidekick and wanted to show Paris up somehow. Paris was smart enough not to state the real reason which keeps everyone talking about it, which is good publicity.
I've read the two weren't getting along during season 3 anyway, lots of behind the scenes fighting which was filmed. I hope they release it one day. There was a rift already taking place and Nicole finally tore the friendship in two.

Paris and Nicole will never be friends again. They both have huge egos and are too competitive. They both became famous because they were born into money and they are both talentless. Paris is a skank and Nicole is an anorexic. Both of them will do anything for publicity. All they do is shop and spend thousands of dollars on shopping sprees. They deserve each other.

Paris Hilton and Nicole.
You have to applaud these two for going on national television and making complete jokes out of themselves.I mean that in a good way.A lot of people hate them both-but you really have to look at the way they are both marketing themselves as well as creating a pop-culture icon out of themselves.Now you hear them in popular conversations like "Oh,you know like Paris Hilton" anyway-Of course it was all a hoax.They're Chicks-Chicks Hate each other.That's what we do best...but Damn you just can't stop watching,can you?

They were funny as hell in the first season of the simple life, but Nicole grew up and lost too much weight, and she is not funny anymore. They really need to grow up at this point, and do a show called the Good Life, because that's the real world they live in, and we are tired of them making fun of others who are less fortunate because they are no good at it anymore.

Brainless. No talent. Almost ugly. Of no use to mankind. Examples of the worst the entertainment industry has to offer. They need to give it up and email me so that I can assist them in finding a purpose in life. Of course it was a hoax.

celebrities are people just like you and me, who happen to have starred in a couple movies, or happen to have sang a couple songs.
celebrities are no more special than you or me. we shouldn't be concerned about there lives, bcuz they're not concerned about ours.
we care if a celebrity dies or gets injured, or GAINS A LITTLE WEIGHT, but no one other than our family and friends care about us like that.
who cares if paris and nicole become friends again, they aren't gonna end world hunger, or end the war on terrorism.
we pay celebrities more than we pay george bush. not many people think george bush is a good president, but without him the US would look like Iraq. bombed, under attack, hurting. bush deserves WAY more than we give him.
we sometimes care more about Mariah Carey than the soldiers fighting for our safety. OUR LIVES! so what if brad pitt can't keep a wife, or if brittany spears is pregnant again, or whatever else is in the magazines?
when people are risking our lives for us everyday!
we're watching tv or reading a magazine to find out who's dating who!
think about it people.
it's truly ridiculous!

Publicity stunt. I saw Paris on E News Weekend and she was quite phony. I think that their friendship or lack of one gets way too much attention. Neither of them is truly talented and has done anything other than be rich.

I just saw their show for the first time yesterday on VH1...they are totally big losers, but a lot of people says its hard 2 see them seperated because they've been friends for so long...i say they both are just *itches, so whatever happens, i dont care
