One time i was helping some people to clean a building, most of the lights were off, and i was going around all of the rooms to dump all of the trash-cans. Then at one room (which didn't have a window) I stopped and opened the door, immeidiatly i saw this black figure in the back of the room swoop straight torwards me, i freaked out and slammed the door right when whatever it was was in front of me. I left the place as soon as possible. This was a couple of years ago. It really shook me up and now i am afraid to go into any dark place unless i have a light or a friend with me. Was i freaking out over nothing, or was it really some sort of scary spirit/ghost?

I say it could have been a ghost. I have only seen one ghost ever, when I lived next door to a cemetary. It was in the middle of the night and it looked like a really old man that was gray colored. I didn't sleep in that room for a LONG time. I dragged the mattress into the living room and slept there.

What you saw that day could have been very real but you can not allow it to affect you in the way it has been doing. For darkness is not your enemy, and in many dark areas there is nothing waiting to pounce on you. I do believe you are afraid of the wrong thing. Also if it could or wanted to hurt you a simple door would not have stopped it. So you had encounter with something strange chalk it up to one of life strange occurrences and get on with the rest of your life without the fears........... Oh by the way yes ghost are very real.

It sure could have been a spirit. Most generally, though, spirits are not evil or freaky.
They have just chosen to stay in a place for some reason. They might have died there or just had some other strong bond to the place.

Sounds like a spirit. The ones in black or with a black shadow around them are also the bad ones.

genuine, alongside with you my uncle and his brother chanced on a ghost stirring a pot of water in the kitchen whilst they have been purely sons and daughters. The ghost observed them and the two the pot of water and sppon fell to the floor. P.S. IS IT a similar discern each and every time?
