i agree with Abella. Can't compare those two 'cause they're playing for different position. Cristiano is a midfielder while Rooney is a striker. They'll be unbeaten when they play together. But well, if i still have to choose, maybe it's gonna be Cristiano Ronaldo. I don't really like Rooney because he's too tempered.

Well, they are both really good at football, but i like Cristiano's tricks and way of playing a little better. Rooney is more of a rough and tough guy while Ronaldo is more of a pretty boy, even when he plays.

Wayne Rooney because with him at least you know what you are getting, and a good Footballer to boot, Cristiano Ronaldo, yes he is a good Footballer as well, but, after what happened in the World Cup (sorry to bring it up) I feel I can`t quite trust him to be loyal to his team mates. sorry my opinion.

Well, with the hatred going around for Ronaldo (and with good reason) I think the majority of people will go for Wayne. However, if you disregard the goings on in the World Cup, it becomes a much closer contest. The fact is they are completely different players.
I think, if pressed for an answer, I would probably go for Wayne.

the two dont compare. cristiano cant be a better striker than rooney while nobody carries the ball forward like cristiano does!

Definitely Rooney, cuz Ronaldo is good, but he just tries to carry the ball to far, then lose it, then complain about how much of a foul it should've been...

both are very talented and skilled in their own ways. so, it's really hard to choose which is better. but i guess since I like rooney, i have to say him. but ronaldo is still very, very good.
