the pirates will have the worst record in baseball at the end of the season and here is why. the royals are showing some slim signs of improvement example: they swept the red sox, the pirates on the other hand have 1 good player, jason bay. there is no one else. they traded craig wilson, there probly second best hitter. they have no one and should finish with the worst record.

Definitely the Royals. They're awful and young and while their cap is pretty limited, their GM hasn't made any solid additions to cultivate the young talent and bring in valuable vets other than Reggie Sanders. Like someone else said, the Royals are also playing in the tough AL central and not the relatively weaker NL central where the Pirates reside.
