No offense, but I would rent a sprayer if I was doing the job. I've applied thousands of gallons of paint, and in my opinion, Wagner, makes great Land Fill.
I prefer Behr, but usually buy away from Home Stores. Porter Paints is one I use here in Florida. Certainly there are other quality paints, such as Sherwin Williams.
Be prepared to pay for quality however. Anything less will have you cursing after the fact.

RE:
Lowes Paints (American Tradition - Olympic) or Home Depot (Behr - Glidden)?
Im in the process of painting a new construction house. Can not afford the $4500 labor cost that I was quoted. Wondering which brand of paint will be best to use. American Tradition, Olympic, Behr or Glidden. I'm planning on using a Wagner Paint Crew as much as possible.
Thanks

I was always a big fan of Behr paint but recently used the American Tradition and was very happy with the results.
When I bought my house the previous owners painted all the walls bright mint green and I was able to to do one good coat with no problems. The kitchen was a little trickier only because I used a yellow color but 2 coats it covered very well.
I used eggshell finish for the bedrooms, living room and hallway.
And semi gloss for bathroom, kitchen and my son's room.
All the walls have held up to regular scrubbing and the abuse of a 4 year old and dog.
I had a "paint party" to help paint my house. I had 4 people over ordered pizza and drinks we had it done in a day. I have a smaller house but it was much cheaper than to pay someone

Behr paint just received the #1 rating in this months Consumer Reports Magazine. I used it interior and exterior 8 years ago on my home, and it still looks great. It is not cheap, but not as expensive as alot of the other paints. You really do get what you pay for in a paint brand. I'd rather pay more and get a really professional looking job! Good Luck!

Behr has worked great and lasted a long time when i have used it, but be sure to prime it first, it gives years of life to paintjob.

I used Behr and was satisfied with it for the walls. I would not recommend it for the ceilings. We used Behr for the ceilings and had to repaint them 3x because we could see roller marks and can still see some. I think it dries too fast. I'd go higher quality for the ceilings.

I didn't get very good coverage with Behr last time I used it. I've always liked and had good luck with Sherwin Williams.
