Okay...after ttc for 5 months went to dr. and found out I wasn't ovulating. Took my first round of Clomid this month (50 mg days 3-7). I am now cycle day 11 and just got ewcm. Does this mean I am DEFINITELY going to ovulate? I am so excited to finally ovulate again. My dr. appt to check my progesterone levels isn't until next week and I'm wondering. Serious answers only please.

No, it doesn't. It means your body is *preparing* for ovulation. Sometimes something (stress usually) interferes and you never do ovulate--or you ovulate a few days or weeks later. However, if you are on clomiphene, the egg white is a good sign, as the drug can, in some cases, dry up cervical fluid.

I took Clomid for 3 mos and the dr gave me a chart to record my temp every am before getting out of bed. It helped me figure out when I was ovulating and therefore knew to have lots of sex. Month 3 and I was pregnant(now I'm 36 weeks pregnant) We had tried conceiving for 3 years. Good Luck!

Try using ovulation kit on those expected dates. Along with that u can also take u'r body temperature in the morning with basal body thermometer and check u'r cervical mucus (egg white, slippery) as well.

Well, nothing is a definate, but it sounds very likely. To get your hopes up a little, I conceived the first month of Clomid on 50mgs :)

Yes it means you are definitely going to ovulate and that you are in the most fertile stage to conceive. Have plenty of sex now!

you are definitely ovuating just so you know-- clomid can actualy dry up your dervical mucus so if you know you are ovulating and don't see any mucus buy Pre-Seed lube online at babycenter.com it is safe for sperm and actually replaces your own natural cervical fluids hope this helps and good luck!!!!
