Exercise! Healthy exercise... nothing too severe... Just walk everyday and stretch, yoga and working out on a big ball is all good... just keep moving it will make birth easier for you and the baby too!

This isn't healthy for a baby. The needed weight gain is 30 pounds. But for someone overweight, if they are losing weight through exercize, yet still eating enough for the baby, I suppose it would be possible.

Surely you can not mean that only 15lbs was gained through-out the whole entire pregnancy? And if that is what you mean then are you sure that you have got that rite?

I gained 28 with the 1st 31 with the 2nd and 23 with the third. appears like between 20 and 30 is the generic. They do say that smaller women persons have a tendency to earnings a splash extra. jointly as heavyset women earnings somewhat much less.

well, my friend that is obese was told to only gain 10 and she did it. I think she just watched how much she ate and threw all the junk food out. To my recollection, she lost 10 pounds at the beginning, so she actually had 25 lbs to "spare"....

Just make sure you get out and walk. That helps burn some of the calories and you will burn more with child growing inside of you.

Unless you are very over weight this is an unhealthy thing to do. Excercice NO MATTER how sick you feel and eat helthy NO MATTER what you are craving and you and your BABY will be just fine. If you gain it in a healthy way then it will come off easyer.

Apparently this is possible, specially with the first child and - as you said - being overweight in the first place.
