I mostly use CD-R's for burning music. They're great. CD-RW's are rewritable, which means if you made a great CD but don't really like it, you can replace it with another album or mix. CD-R's can't do that. Once the CD is made, it's made and you can't erase it.

CD-R is fine. On wmp, add your music to a playlist, insert the cd and click copy to cd or device and it'll check all the songs you listed. Click copy at the top and sit back and wait.

those are your 2 selections: CD-RW: it truly is a CD that is utilized like a floppy disk. Its customary use is for storage, in case you'll opt to backup your information. you may save *any type* of records on a CD-R-- information, pictures, and so on, on it. it is referred to as a CD-RW because it truly is rewritable. this signifies that you'll can save writing and rewriting to it, very like you may with a cassette tape. CD-R: This CD could also carry any type of media you'll opt to it. inspite of the undeniable fact that, the style between this and a CD-R is that when you write to it, it is everlasting. [you won't be able to overwrite it as quickly because it is made]. yet another major area of recognize is that that's the form of CD you should use to burn a song CD. in case you further song information to a CD-RW, you'd be able to replica/ flow them to and fro between the CD and your pc, yet you doesn't be able to make an actually song CD you may want to play. For that, you'll ought to get the CD-R. One very last area of prognosis about the CD-R is once you've the opt to make not person-friendly copies of records that you'll opt to distribute, it is more effective efficient to save them on the CD-R than a CD-RW, when you consider that any CD-ROM force will be able to ascertain them. So: CD-RW: Use this as you may want to a floppy-- to backup/ save information [might want to correctly be *any* information, even song information]. CD-R: Use this to: a million) make everlasting copies of your information [exceptionally in case you need them to be distributed to others to view/ play on their drives] OR 2) burn a song CD that is performed in CD participant, force, and so on...
