i didn't have insurance with my second child who is only 8 weeks old, but I still went to the doctors. My baby's health was very important. I tried to qualify for state help but we made to much. Have you tried the state help? they will cover pregnancy and the babies first year if you qualify. Your best bet is to just go to the doctors and find out. If you are pregnant and you don't go to the doctors wouldn't you feel bad if something was wrong with your child but you could've prevented it by going to the doctors? If you are pregnant what about the dad? If you don't qualify for state help he should by law be required to pay for the birth and stuff. Hope this was of help and good luck with it all!

If you haven’t had a period since January then obviously you aren’t ovulating. 99.9 percent of the time you have to have a period to have ovulated. And of course, if you aren’t ovulating then you aren’t able to get pregnant. I want to be encouraging but if every test you have taken comes back with negative results then you probably aren’t pregnant. I know you are having all these symptoms but a lot of times when we want something bad enough our body can create all the symptoms of it. Believe me I know this as I am TTC also and have been for four months now. I too don’t have insurance but if you want to find out bad enough then you should go to your local emergency room. You won’t have to pay anything up front and if you are having financial difficulties they can give you a form that could make all of your medical expenses free of charge. There is always the rare possibility that you could be pregnant and that something kept the tests from reading correctly but do be prepared that you very well could not be pregnant right now. Good luck!

some women do not produce enough hcg, the hormone detected during pg. one definite and fairly inexpensive way to check if there is a fetus is to go to ur DR or the ER & have them listen for fetal heart tones.
if u haven't had a period since jan that would make u 7-8 mo along & there will be a heartbeat if ur in fact pg.
like someone else said, there is such a thing as pseudo pg. u will have all sympts. of pg~nausea, vomiting, weight gain, etc. but pg tests will be neg & no heart beat will be heard.
either way, if u r pg, u need to get checked regardless of lack of health insurance or not. there are plenty of government programs that can help u, u just have to look.

There is an illness, that occurs in people that REALLY REALLY want to be pregnant. It is called Pseudo pregnancy, and has all the symptoms of being pregnant including increase in abdominal girth, without a baby .It is also called a FALSE PREGNANCY.
Go to the Health department, they have a prenatal clinic there so women without insurance can get prenatal care.If you are you need to be on supplements and an ultrasound to see how the baby is growing,(especially since you have not received prenatal care so far).
So for your health and the health of a possible baby, got to the HEALTH DEPARTMENT.
let me know how things turn out.

Well with my state we have Hoosier- Health Wise. Which is for people with no insurance so everything is free including baby insurance.. Maybe your state has that and if you have not had a period since January you would be like 8 months pregnant...

well unfortunately it sounds like your pregnant. you need to find some type of insurasnce and you should be taking prenatal vitamins and you should have a doctor to ensure that your baby is ok. if you care anything about this baby you will try to seek insurance that is normally given by the county it is free and you and your baby should receieve free doc. apts. you might have to go to the closest town to seek help. You shouldnt be 5 mos. and have not seen a doctor yet

Well, first why in the world were you trying to get pregnant when you don't have insurance?? That's just irresponsible. If you can go to planned parenthood or even the ER & get a pg test done & get proof that you are pg(if youa re) then you can take it to DHS & get on medicaid or your states equivilent. Now, the "symptoms" could be actual or imagined. If you think youa re pg then you can trick yourself into noticing "symptoms". Just go to the ER or health dept or PP.

go to the er. they have to take you in whether you have insurance or not. or you can go to a planned parenthood, if you dont have insurance they have to provide you with prenatal care.
