Who would win Black Bear vs. Polar Bear?

i think polar bear, but i'm just assuming. Polar bears have all that extra fat and possibly more muscle...but it would also depend greatly on where the fight's taking place...

I would say Polar Bear. I have heard that Polar Bears are more aggressive than Black Bears in addition to their larger size.

Bears are not godless killing machines. They're bears, a mammal that normally survives on fish and plants and occasionally attacks a human who is either hunting in it's territory or misinturprets it actions. Most bears attack because they see humans as a threat. Now to answer your question.....

A black bear is relatively small compared to a polar bear. The black bear is more agressive but I think that the polar bears size and shear power would win in the end.

that's easy the polar bear of course because it is alot bigger. In fact the polar bear is the largest bear.

Also black bears have been known to fall prey to grizzlies., due to the fact that grizzlies are larger than the black.
