How many of you agree that the movie World Trade Center should have been made or how many of you believe its too soon or it should not have been made?
Personally I think we all know what happened, so why open old wounds and make such a movie.. but i know that many of you will most likely disagree.. what do u think? and also i heard all of the profits are going to the world trade center relief fund.. for victims and their families and all.. is thus true?

I agree that its too soon since it was only 5 yrs ago and plus as most know it usually takes a yr or 2 to make a film which means they started making the movie even sooner. waay too soon if u ask me. I think if they made a movie bout that many years later then it would be ok.
Since everyone already made movies about pearl harbor, WW2 and 1 and so on, its just the same making one about the world trade center, just something dat happened in history like evrything else

I don't think they should have made it personally. Maybe if would have showed why it happened or why it couldn't have been stopped. But basically i think it's like seeing a movie about katrina. It brings up to many emotions and memories.

good question. i think that the movie industry is exploiting the tragedy for BIG profits. the movie itself is very controversial just like "passion of the christ", and "brokeback mountian". this movie can be horribly made and people will still pay to see it so they dont feel anti america. just like brokeback mountain, people felt that if they didnt see that then they would be seen as prejudiced. and poeple saw the passion so that they can feel that they are good christians. most will see this out of sympathy

I have no desire to see this movie. I saw the real thing and don't wish to relive it. Honestly, I don't like the idea that they made this movie period.
