are we all hezbollah now ? more of my friends (and I have a few) tell me they must help the people of lebanon?

I couldn't agree more, I want to help, but not sure how? I missed the protest last week.

The Lebanese people are receiving world aid and money to rebuild what has been destroyed. Their lives are being rebuilt as we speak. Keep in mind, the Lebanese people have been receiving this aid since about the 4th or 5th day of the counter attacks of Israel.

The Hezbollah are the enemy here and even the Israeli's have acknowledged that. In numberous cases the Israeli goverment dropped warning leaflets into areas that were being targeted and issued warnings for people not to drive their vehicles during curfew hours.

It's difficult to fight an enemy that hides within the civilian population of a country that, for the lack of better words, is afraid of them. The Hezbollah force themselves upon the Lebanese people and brought this destruction on them. It was no different in Afgahnistan with the Taliban. These militia's or terrorist groups or whatever you want to call them need to be rooted out and the governments given the ability to take control of their countries again.

We are not the Hezbollah, nor are we terrorists. We could become like the Hezbollah though and create small militia's of men (let's say 20-30 guys in size) and begin launching small attacks into Canada or Mexico, or just fire rockets into Canada from the US side. I will guarantee you that the US Government will not tolerate it and send troops to deal with us. I also guarantee you that if the US decided not to send troops to stop us that Mexico or Canada (and the World) would send troops to stop us. It's no different in Lebanon.

If these cowardly Middle Eastern Muslim countries want to take over Israel or destroy Jews or do whatever it is they want to do...then why can't they just BRING IT? No, they play with these little terror cells to wreak havoc on everyone, then have the nerve to "declare victory". It's such a joke. Iran is pulling the puppets strings right now because they don't have the guts or nerve to just bring the attack. Why? Because they would lose...pure and simple.

The other thing that is a joke is the fact that there are people out there actually comparing the US to Hezbollah.

The Lebanese and Hezbollah are not one and the same
Hezbollah is indeed a movement of Lebanese extremists. But that doesn't mean that The majority of the people are Hezbollah. The Situation is a bit dual because The People that fund Hezbollah do a lot of good for the common Lebanese. Provide aid, fund schools etc. which increases their popularity. But I think that none of the common Lebanese is happy being subject of Israeli Bombing due to Hezbollah missiles!!

Lebanon has suffered and it is all because of Hezbollah I hope the Lebanese people realise this Israel had withdrawn before and many times hoped for peace. There will be no peace until they love their children more than the hate. Who in a civilized world want their offsprings to grow up to be killing machines

I think there is a sizeable differance between wanting to help people in Lebanon, and supporting Hezbollah, who's stated goal is to wipe the state of Israel off the map and drive its inhabitants into the gulf.

i don't let Hezbollah do this .they have been telling them to not ask the USA or anyone else for help because they was going to rebuild it them self .now that is what Hezbollah have been saying in the media .
