I think you're talking about the Jules and Gedeon Naudet film. They know a lot to do with 9/11- most of the film is made of their own material - many pictures of 9/11 you see on TV are their pictures. They were in NY to make a documentary about a NY firefighter when the first plane hit the WTC. They followed the firefighter brigade the whole day long.
It is a very sad and impressive film!!!!

If you are talking about the footage of the Trade Center attack that was shot by the French photogs who were in NYC doing work on a documentary, then no and who cares. Don't even know if they finished it - it was probably about what wine to serve with cheese. It was the footage that they took that was NOT about the documentary that was interesting.
If you are REALLY talking about a documentary about 9/11 that some French guys put together, then who cares because what could two French guys POSSIBLY know about 9/11???
