I have been watching pram face whilst I normally consider that a lot of these girls get pregnant just so they can live of the state and get a flat I feel I must applaud the two girls on this programme because it came across that they were going without to ensure that the children never went without and as soon as one was able she went to work and left the children with a child minder I would much rather that my taxes go to help people like those 2 girls rather than wasted on the people that have no intention of ever getting a job and have 10 or more kids collecting hundreds of pounds every week in benefit and demanding 2 council houses knocked in to 1 or the immigrants who can not and will not learn to speak English

I found the programme very interesting to watch. The only thing I can say is that I would never ever make my child live in a house that was freezing and then stand there smoking a cigarette. This is the one of the few things that I hate seeing when people are on benefits. You see them sat in the pub or smoking but then they deprive their children of essential such as a good healthy meal or heat. I know this as I was unfortunate enough to be brought up this way. I have always worked since I was 16 and wouldnt have it any other way, but this is by my own personal choice. I dont want my child to think of me the way that I think of my parents.

No need, I've got mates who are living it, if the adverts are anything to go by it's about time people realised what a struggle it is.
And people wonder why the amount of children with psychological problems is going up?
The lack of money and the stress it causes leads to stressed out parents - how can I child grow up well balanced when it is made to feel like a second class citizen (mummy why do my friends go on holiday and we don't? etc) and it's mum is stressed to the verge of a breakdown by money worries (mummy why do you cry all the time?etc)
Life for single mum's certainly ain't the box of roses that people claim! Well Done to Channel 4 for exposing our nations shame!

First minute - then turned telly off before I kicked it in. If people cannot afford to keep themselves they should not have children. What incenses me is they don't even stick to the one. Look at Belgium, Holland and the Scandinavian countries where they don't get a single penny. Much better quality of life. To have a child when all you have to offer is a sink estate and benefits is unintelligent. I have actually known people spend more on cigs than a decent pair of shoes for their child. How thick is that?
I can never afford my own place, and years ago when I applied for council housing I was told the only way I would get one was to get pregnant. No way! Fortunately the government has come to it's senses (the only thing it's got right) and are creating places for singles and couples on low incomes.

I'm a disabled mom living off of SSI, supplemental security income, and am raising a son on my own. Would you say that's fun? Give it a try and find out.

Yeah I'm watching it, its a shame that the children suffer in the conditions that they are in and the mums struggle on their own to make their life enjoyable as possible.

i think ur a cheeky b itch. i'm a single mum on benefits, i can't get a job because i have no family to look after my kids and childcare doesn't come completely free, so until they're are in school i'm stuck in a rut, climb out of your f uckin bubble and realise that everyone can't have what they want. My kids are well looked after and I will make sure that they have a good life and don't have the same stuck up prejudiced attitude like you

nikki... you're doing a great job! all mums should stay at home and look after their kids... they'd have a better start in life if they were brought up by their mums instead of some strangers at nursery.. call me old-fashioned i don't care.. but if you take on the responsibility of having kids then what's a few years out of your life to give your child stability, love, care and attention?
and where are the dads? they're the buggers who should be ashamed of themselves... i dont mind my taxes paying for kids to be brought up by their mums.. rather that than paying for bombs!

how kind of daughter to buy her alcoholic mum a drink!!!
WHY do these girls not use protection, the pill, condoms, implants, you name it you can use and stop these unplanned pregnancies happening. Its no good moaning about not having money to do this that and the other! I have 2 kids and work part time to scrimp and save to buy them nice things. Maybe if they thought about what they were doing me, my husband and the rest of us wouldn't have to work hard to pay for them to stay at home with their kids and we could stay at home to look after ours!!!!!!!!

yes and it looks like great fun bloody ignoramus.
yes people applaud yourself this is great, attack mothers as usual, its funny no one is asking were the dads are in the scenario
dont you think?
these girls are still kids themselves
also whats wrong with bringing up your own children and not fob them off to nursery staff, when did it become socially unacceptable to do so?
and does the benefit system not exist to help the needy? i would say girls who's boyfriends have deserted them and the kids are needy indeed? ignorant fools.
