I like the look of liquid eyeliner but after about 10 minutes of wearing it...it begins to flake off or just look like crap. does anyone have any suggestions of great liquid eyeliner brands or perhaps a solution to my problem?

First of all make sure your lids are not oily by giving them a little dust with face powder & the best liquid eyeliners really are the most expensive. Also hold your eyelid tight to straighten out the creases for a more even& solid application.

If you're living in the U.S. and there's a Walmart nearby, you should check out the cheapest brand of liquid liner that I use - stays on perfectly! Black Radiance Fine LIne Liquid Eyeliner #6405 in black! It is awesome!!! But if you wanna splurge a little more on something that WON'T BUDGE AT ALL, no matter if you rub your eyes or water them - then you should try Lip Ink Liner - in eye Black #122 - I buy mine from the Health Nut Hut (dunno if you have any nearby) but you can always go to this website (http://www.lipink.com/eye-liner-s/20.htm) and I promise, that **** will not move for the whole day! It's a semi-permanent liquid liner. (yes you can remove it with the lip ink remover at the same site) I promise you HAVE to love either one of these - especially the lip ink one if you're really picky about your liner staying on perfect the whole day.

Put it this way - I can recall one day I had the lip ink eyeliner on at school. I rode the bus with this girl, so she saw me in the morning, as well as at the end of the day. (It was raining pretty hard that day.) So at the end of the day when I got back on the bus, she said "Wow... your eyeliner is still the same as it was this morning!" She'd usually see me with the cheap black pencil liners that are always gone by the end of the day. So if you don't believe me, go check it out for yourself! :) Hope this helps!

i like the ones maybelline or covergirl make, they both have a felt tip which makes it a lot easier to apply then with a brush....just try to draw the line as close to the lashes as possible, then fix up any thing that looks funny with a q-tip....maybe if you apply a little eyeshadow in the same color as the eyeliner on top of it, it might help it to stay put a little better

Almay makes really good liquid eyeliner, and they have colors that coordinate with eyeshadows and mascaras to bring out your eyecolor. I've never had any problems with it flaking, and it dries really fast so it doesn't smear all over your eyelids.

any brand out there should be good try Maybelline or Loreal, remember that a little goes a long way, you might also want to keep a Q-tip handy if you mess up. They also carry eye pencils that wet and they go on just like liquid, I use one from Revlon.

i use the liquid eyeliner by urban decay. i love it cuz it stays on all day. of course u cant be rubbing ur eyes or else it'll smear everywhere. i also like it because the brush is thin. u can find it at any sephora store.

maybe the brand you use stinks-I don't use liquid eyeliner so I don't kno any good companys that have it. I know that NYC's normal eyeliner works well tho.
