bluetailed skink making home in chair in our house. we would like to relocate him outside.

Being completely unfamiliar with the critter I have two suggestions. 1. You could cover the chair carefully and completely with something like a blanket or tarp and then proceed to 2. Move the chair outside..........then you can go after the bugger and no he will run off outside as opposed to claiming something else indoors.

Scariest: my canines attacked a doberman and Rottweiler Disgusting: a canines ate cat poo and threw up on the cat terrible: my canines just about stuck a cat :( idiotic: my canines wasn't searching and ran proper into the door lol good success on your education application :) from Pringle and Ben the canines :) xxx also ben is a jack russell so the proper is absolute to be scary

Pick up the chair while he's inside, haul it outside, and shake him out. Or keep an eye on wherever he comes out, and make sure you've got a fishnet.

sit very still, wait, and grab him aroundd the middle

or can you take the entire chair outside and then get him out....
