moving as much before labor??

Question

i cant remember since its been four years since my first baby, right before or as you start the beginning of labor does the baby move around as much as usual or would she get pretty still?

They tend to move less.

Usually, they tend to move less than normal.
I have had 2 pregnancies where I woulda sworn they were doing some kind of break dancing in my belly when I went into labor.

the doctors do tell you, if you feel less than 10 movements in an hours time to call them.
If you have been monitoring babys movments, and there are less than 10 or 12 in a one hour time frame when she is normally most active, call your health care provider.

Normally, babies move less because they are starting into or alrady started into the birth canal and there is less room there. Unless you are lucky and your baby wants to come out really bad then maybe will move down thru the birth canal fast. That would feel as if your baby is just as active. Right before labor, they stay pretty calm because they don't have much room to move.

they baby will not move as much simply because there is not as much room in there any more always go by what you feel is the right amount and always ask a doctor if you have any serious concerns

When I was in the early stages of labour, my son was going crazy in there.

Later on..I honestly can't remember..I was in too much pain :)
