How do you feel about all the girl pop groups that are infesting the air waves?

The same way i feel about boy bands and all these punk rock bands that are comming up that do all the same kind of music. they are a dishonor to true musicians, they say music is their life but all they do is copy music or write stuff with the creative power of a five year old! i think that's terrible because they spoil the genre, for example, now many people look at POP as a a lower kind of music, as music for airheads, but a few decades ago POP wasn't that at all, in fact there were excellent pop bands such as 'The Beatles', same, i believe is happening with Punk Rock, thetre are and were excellent punk rock bands such as 'Green Day', but now all these bands are coming making the genre seem commercial and uncreative. i think companies should hire more people with real talent and not people who fill up with a commercial demand!

Better than boy bands, at least. I wouldn't know about them "infesting the air waves"-- I just don't listen to the corporate slave radio stations. If you don't like what you hear, turn it the hell off or slide the dial to the local indie college station. Find new music online, and don't be a mindless slave consuming what Clearchannel (etc) wants you to.

Whats wrong with that? We had to endure the boy bands a few years back so why not girl groups? They sound a little better anyway. Its just a new fad, give it some time and it will die like every other fad does.

Just as bad are the whiney boy singers ... they all sound the same, no one is original any more.

as a female, all i can say is, women singers kinda suck. except for that clarkson person. other than that, i don't like women singers' voices....
