Go to your Yahoo page you want as a home page, click "Tools" at the top of the page, go down to "internet options" click it and the first thing you will see under "Home" is a selection that you can click that will allow you to use the Yahoo address as your new homepage.

Mine done that once. I had to go in and turn off the Windows Messenger, but I don't remember how I done it. I fell for the adds and bought some software that I probably didn't even need. Does it give you a different spyware company every time. That's what ours did.

You have malware (spyware/Trojan) on your computer. Immediately download AdAware, Spybot, or some other similar program and scan/clean your computer. Depending upon how adept the program is and how many "friends" it has brought along, this may take a bit of effort and tries.

DO NOT do anything else with your computer until you fix it. Otherwise you may be giving away your passwords and other identifiers.

DO NOT PAY FOR ANTI-SPYWARE software! IT is not necessary. Many of the paid anti-spyware programs are themselves malware or scams. The free programs can handle almost any malware currently out there.

dear m'lady,

unfortunately you'll need http://www.webroot.com SpySweeper to scan and remove then reset all your Internet Explorer settings. It costs $30 bucks a year. Or you can go to http://www.infinitekingdoms.com and it has in the forums some other adware/spyware software removal recommended sites too.

kind regards,
ben
