having your periods...
Logically to me, it wouldn't be possible! But I've heard that it was possible, if so, how can it actually happen?

Thanks :-p

it's very rare it happens when a women MISS ovulates and ovulates to early or too late. In nature a period is to shed the lining to make a new lining for a fertilized egg and it takes about 14 days from the start of a cycle 4 the lining to be ready again to nature a egg. Actually it makes the lining too thin in most cases 4 the egg to implant even if you ovulated and get fertilized during a period your chances are better the fertilized egg wil not find a spot with enough tissue to implant into the egg will come out with your period blood you'll never know 4 a short time you were acually pregnant. IT STILL HAPPENS nature is not PERFECT kids are born missing limbs, women get pregnant who were told they never would, egg can implant in the tubes instead of the womb crazy crap happens no rhyme or reason 4 it.

Actually, when you are on your period, technically, you can start ovulating. Remember that your period is the end result of the last egg evaporating. So, because sperm can last for a few days, it is possible for the sperm to meet up with the new ovulating egg. So, in other words, yes, you certainly CAN get pregnant on your period. Hope this clears things up a bit.

Its is rare, but it has happened that women get pregnant while on their periods. It is all just a matter of when she ovulates that month. Sometimes werid stuff happens and a woman can ovulate later than normal and actually be fertile while having her period.

I got pregnant on my period, and iam almost five months along.

Your body will ovulate at different times every now and again. and besides that, sperm can live in the female body for up to 5 days.

I usually ovulate at a different time, but this one time i just happened to ovulate on my period, a time when me and my husband assumed i couldnt get pregnant.

TADA! I am :)

The female body DOES NOT cycle like the tide. Its sad but true.

It's rare, but it happens...you can get pregnant while you are menstruating. Anytime you have unprotected sex, you can get pregnant for that matter!! But some women ovulate during their menstrual cycle. It's weird! But it certainly happens!!!

Anytime and I do mean anytime you have unprotected sex you can get pregnant.

My wife ovulated during a period and hence we had our 4th child who is now 19 years old.

Yeah. Some people have REALLY short period cycles, so they may actually ovulate during their period.

It is possible because sperm can live a long time inside your body. If they survive until ovulation then poof! baby.
