"Melodies of Life" by Emiko Shiratori, from the Final Fantasy IX soundtrack. Only Final Fantasy/ J-Pop fans would probably know this song, but it's just so emotional and sweet; even the various instrumental versions throughout the game bring a tear to my eye. ;_;
"Babe" by Take That. It's such a sweet, heartfelt story within a lovely song. I'm filling up just thinking about it! MARKYYYY!
"Wind Beneath My Wings" by Bette Midler. This song has been played at quite a few funerals, like my mum's friend's parents, and the sentiment attached to it through the film doesn't help matters. One night recently at karaoke I felt a little upset about my grandad, who has been gone for six months now (my nan told me on the phone this evening) but I had the guts to sing it. I did quite well, too.
"These Dreams" by Heart also gets to me occasionally. On St. Patrick's Day, nearly a month after my grandad's passing, this song came on in the bar we were in, and for some reason it just got to me and I started crying. I was embarrassed because I was wearing mascara and eyeliner (not something I usually do, but I was out on a Fifties themed night and I had to do my make-up a specific way) and was worried it might run. I don't like other people to see me cry, especially when they're having a good time.
And "Flower of Scotland" makes me teary-eyed too, given my Scottish heritage. Thank goodness Scotland never make it to the World Cup finals; I'd be blubbing every time they play! (Oh wait, I do that anyway, because they're so awful!! X-D )

HEARTS
MARTY BALIN of the group Jefferson Airplane
IS EVERYTHING ALRIGHT I JUST CALLED TO SAY
HOW LOST I FEEL WITHOUT YOU
MILES AWAY I REALLY CAN'T BELIEVE I'M NEAR
AND HOW I STILL CARE ABOUT YOU
HEARTS CAN BREAK AND NEVER MEND TOGETHER
LOVE CAN FADE AWAY
HEARTS COULD CRY WHEN LOVE WON'T STAY FOREVER
HEARTS CAN BE THAT WAY
IS EVERYTHING THE SAME DO YOU EVER THINK OF ME
AND HOW WE LOVED ONE ANOTHER
WILL YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND WILL YOU WANDER BACK
AGAIN OR HAVE YOU FOUND YOURSELF A NEW LOVE
HEARTS CAN BREAK AND NEVER MEND TOGETHER
LOVE CAN FADE AWAY
HEARTS COULD CRY WHEN LOVE WON'T STAY FOREVER
HEARTS CAN BE THAT WAY
IS EVERYTHING OK I JUST THOUGHT I'D WRITE A SONG
TO TELL THE WORLD HOW I MISS YOU
'CAUSE EACH AND EVERY DAY I THINK OF ALL THE WORDS
I NEVER SAID AND ALL THE CHANCES THAT I HAD YOU
HEARTS CAN BREAK AND NEVER MEND TOGETHER
LOVE CAN FADE AWAY
HEARTS COULD CRY WHEN LOVE WON'T STAY FOREVER
HEARTS CAN BE THAT WAY
HEARTS CAN BE THAT WAY
HEARTS CAN BEEEEE IS EVERYTHING ALRIGHT

In no particular order:
1. Unchained Melody (by the way, the Ghost movie ruined this song for me, it was meant for the soldiers who were away from home during WWII or Korean War) 2. Held by Natalie Grant, link to lyric: http://www.lyricsdownload.com/natalie-grant-held-lyrics.html 3. Sunset by Air Supply, link to lyric: http://www.4lyric.com/show.php?lyric=26528. I'm sure there have been other's but can't think of them now. Enjoy :-)

For me, the song Because of You by Kelly Clarkson. I think that most people can relate to that song in SOME way. There is always that one person who comes to mind when I listen to that song...
