"On August 7, 2006, IGN reported that several insiders have stated that Wii will launch November 2, 2006 and November 12, 2006. IGN also reported that sources suggest a launch price of $229, and that Nintendo allegedly bumped production to more than 5 million units by the end of the 2006 calendar year, up from the "4 million or more" figure quoted earlier by Nintendo."
