of course you should whats the worst that can happen you wont make it? well if you didnt then you have a whole years worth of practice so that when you try out again the year after you can kick they're butts! so there is no down side. and your height should not prevent you from doing something you appearently love! good luck, hope you make it!

p.s. if your short wont that help with you ducking between people?

well
how old are you?
because if youre like 13 and 4'3 youre in a bit of a situation.
if you love basketball and are at an age where it isnt taken seriously, it doesnt matter on the skill.
but if you really like it and can play some, you've got some game, then you should play
I have the same problem.
Im not the best on the track, yet I led my team in scoring last year in a 13-14 year old league. You'll be fine if you try, and work for it.
Because if youre at that height, Im thinking youre at the age when all that counts is trying. Go for it, and youre already a champ

HOW OLD ARE YOU?
IF YOU ARE 4 ft 3 in the first grade== keep playing.
if you are 18, you might not want to play basketball again.

Have you seen tall ball handlers? No watch a game and check it out the short ones can dribble a lot better than those tall ones...Go ahead and try it.

you will desire to definatly attempt out! whilst i began out lax i replaced into the worst individual on the team yet with practice i grew to develop into somewhat solid! So what if human beings make exciting of you basically be indepent and overlook approximately them! solid success! :-)
