I simply bitched at yahoo! and told them I would start using a different Home page. Then I kept checking. I got it back, don't know what did it.

Go to the Yahoo sign in page, and click the "forgot your Yahoo ID or password?" Then you put in the alternate e-mail address you think you may have put in when you registered the account, and it will send you the names of any Yahoo IDs registered with that alternate e-mail address.

if you have not done a system restore or a pc hard drive format open my-documents you may see a folder in there with your old yahoo id on it as when ever you login to yahoo and join a chat room there is a yahoo folder with your yahoo id on.. in the my-documents folder

humm, go to the members directory and search for it. or if you remember what email you had with it, key that up in find passwords/aliases then have it mailed to your email address you question.

click on start > run, and type in "regedit", press enter

browse until you reach the following path in the registry.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Software
Yahoo
Profiles

and it will show you every single person who has logged on at that machine in the past.
