Obviously for Christians Christmas is the most significant.
I like the weather at Halloween. Just beginning to get cool, and the leaves are falling. (I live in the northeast US, and autumn is very beautiful.)
Actually, I look most forward to Thanksgiving! (Late November in the US.) Feasts, parades, half a week off.
Unfortunately, since I grew up it seems Christmas is too much running around - gifts, cards, work, decorations, etc. - and not enough time to just sit down and enjoy and savor the holiday.

I prefer Christmas. It's a time of the year wherein we celebrate Christ's birth with our family. Sure, halloween is fun though a little bit scary but nothing compares to the happiness that Christmas spirit of love and sharing can give.
