If you mean eat ONLY white rice and nothing else, this would be very dangerous. White rice has almost no nutritional value. You may not even loose weight because rice has alot of carbs. What you would do is set a very unhealthy precedent for yourself. If you want to loose a few, try limiting your diet to just a couple of well balanced things in small amounts. Like fruit and lowfat cheese and whole wheat crackers. Drink lots of water. You can't maintain this for a long time, but you won't be killing yourself to loose a couple of pounds

White rice is bad for you! Starch etc....
What you are wanting is brown rice and no not just rice is going to make you lose weight.
Drink lots of water and stick to a low calorie diet 1200 or less.

You are better off eating brown rice as it has more useful ingrediants. My friend lost lots of weight eating only green leafy salads with non-fat dressing. 8 bottles of water a day. She didnt even excercise!

It's "lose" weight. A balanced diet is the best as all that rice would give you way to much starch and carbs. Be sensible.
