a licensed massage therapist working in a reputable place can make really good money - usually you can figure 50% of the hourly rate being yours. the average hourly rate for a massage is $60 - 90. so 30-45 an hour is really good. realize that you may not always do 40 hours worth of service in a week. freelance massage therapy goes for about the same rate, but you get all the money.

I am an animal massage therapist. I make $55/hr for canine and $75/hr for equine. There are several other therapists in my area, keeping the fee low.

You have to be able to market your self well. I have friends that went through 2 years of school. One does it part time, the other could never get a clientele going and he is still doing what he did before.

Depends where they work like anything else.

Anywhere from 10/hr in a crappy salon somewhere or $100 and hour for private in home masage
