Terrorists are found by the US Army, US Marines, and more every day. It may take awhile but sooner or later they will fix this problem.

Have fun and be safe.

I'm not, but they do it for a number of reasons.

The one most people hear is religion. This is a fringe case and not usually true. While religion is a factor, the issue is usually much deeper.

The feeling of oppression. This is the most common reason. Most of the people that join terrorist organizations or perform terrorist acts are either marginalized, or in some other way oppressed. Al-Quaeda was created by a (CIA trained) man that saw the West as oppressing the Arabic people, especially in the support of Israel, which very directly oppresses Palestinian and other Arab peoples. Columbine is another example.

Nothing left to lose. This is pretty common in Iraq now. Many people have lost families, homes, jobs, etc. Some of these people decide to take their anger out on the people they see as causing the problem and their supporters.

They see no other way to get what they want. This is usually tied to my second thought and is the reason they strike the way they do. Many groups, such as Hammas, Hezbollah and the IRA are fighting for freedom for a group. In the case of Hammas, the Palestinians, IRA was fighting for North Ireland, etc. They don't have the ability to directly combat the people that are controlling them, so they attack through proxies.

I hope this enlightens you to some of their reasons, but remember, the killing of innocents is never right. I do not support the terrorist acts, but I sympathise with (some of their) reasons.

You think a real terrorist is going to admit it on a public forum where their identity can be found out and police/fbi/whatever can find them? You do know that if someone actually posted on here that they are a terrorist, then I'm sure Yahoo people would report it to the government, along with their account info and IP address.
